[JURIST] Texas media are reporting that by a wide margin state voters have approved Proposition 2 [text; Yes campaign website; additional pro-Proposition website; LGRL No campaign website], a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage. With 472,553 votes counted, 74 percent favored the measure with 26 percent opposed. The Houston Chronicle has more.
