The West Virginia House of Delegates voted [press release] on Monday to impeach all remaining state Supreme Court justices.

The House voted to adopt 11 of 14 proposed Articles of Impeachment [draft, PDF] previously approved [JURIST report] by the House Judiciary Committee.

The articles outlined the actions of each current justice, mentioning Justice Allen Loughry in seven, Justice Robin Davis in four, Chief Justice Margaret Workman in three and Justice Beth Walker in one.

The articles contain accusations of wasteful spending of taxpayer funds for office renovations and improper use of resources and property.

The justices will now be stand trial before the Senate.
