[JURIST] AP is reporting that a UK judge has granted bail for eight foreign men held without charge on terrorism suspicions. The release comes as British lawmakers engaged in a heated debate [JURIST report] over proposed anti-terror legislation in a rush to replace the existing laws, which are to lapse at midnight on Sunday. Five of the suspects were moved from Belmarsh high-security prison to an immigration center in London, where bail terms were being decided by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission [UK Court Service website].
