[JURIST] AP is reporting that Ukraine's Supreme Court has said that the country's presidential election results can be published Wednesday, which will allow challenger Viktor Yushchencko to take office.

Yanukovych is challenging the results of the country's second presidential election, held December 26, saying that many Ukrainians were denied their right to vote due to confusion over whether absentee voting would be allowed. Yanukovych's attempts to appeal the election results have been largely unsuccessful [ongoing JURIST coverage], and Yanukovych said Monday that the Supreme Court has adopted a biased position toward him, what Yanukovych calls "a serious violation of the constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights [text, PDF]."
