On July 19, 2011, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) upheld the conviction of Florence Hartmann, a former spokesperson for the ICTY, on the charge of contempt. Hartmann was found guilty in September 2009 of revealing confidential information involving appellate decisions from the trial of former Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic. Prior to the conviction, Hartmann made several allegations regarding several international officials, including former US president Bill Clinton and former French president Jacques Chirac.
