JURIST - Staff

Publisher & Editor-in-Chief

Bernard Hibbitts is JURIST's Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, and a Professor of Law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. A Canadian Rhodes Scholar born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he studied law at Oxford, Dalhousie Law School, the University of Toronto, and finally Harvard Law School (LLM 1988), where he was Associate Editor of the Harvard International Law Journal. He is a former law clerk to Justice Gerald LeDain of the Supreme Court of Canada. He created the site that became JURIST in 1996.

Executive Director

JURIST's Acting Executive Director is Andrew Morgan. Andrew is a 2011 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he focused on International and Comparative Law. He previously served as JURIST's Chief of Staff and wrote and edited for Paper Chase. Andrew also holds a BA in Computer Science from New York University.

Research Director

JURIST's Research Director is Jaclyn Belczyk. Jaclyn is a 2008 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, from which she holds a JD and a Certificate in Latin American Studies. She also holds a BA in Anthropology and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.

Technical Director

JURIST Board Member Jeremiah Lee volunteers his time as Technical Director. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and holds a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.

Managing Editor

JURIST's Managing Editor is Sean Gallagher, a 3L at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Sean graduated with a BA in Economics and Theology from Loyola University Maryland. He also serves on JURIST's Editorial Board.

Chief of Staff

JURIST's Chief of Staff is Jaimie Cremeans, a 3L at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Jaimie holds a BS in Political Science and Journalism from Central Michigan University. She also writes and serves as a peer editor for JURIST's Paper Chase service and serves on JURIST's Editorial Board.

Editorial Coordinator

JURIST's Editorial Coordinator is Rebecca DiLeonardo, a 3L at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Rebecca holds a BA in Philosophy from Washington and Jefferson College. She also writes and serves as a peer editor for JURIST's Paper Chase service and serves on JURIST's Editorial Board.
