Hungary deports two British citizens convicted of funding terrorism to UK

A regional court [judicial website] in Hungary decided [AP report] on Thursday to deport two British citizens back to the UK pursuant to an arrest warrant for the men’s unauthorized departure. Simon Keeler and Trevor Brooks, also known as Abu Izzadeen, were both convicted of charges relating to terrorist funding and were prohibited from leaving the country. The men were detained by police while on a train traveling from eastern Hungary to Bucharest. Keeler expressed his intention to join his wife and children in Turkey, however, a spokesperson questioned [Daily Mail report] whether the actual intended destination of the men was Syria.
