[JURIST announcement] And now comes everyone’s favorite part of the fundraising season: the end. We can’t thank you enough for the donations, support, and feedback we’ve received over the past month. It is heartening to know that so many of our readers value JURIST!

If you were unable to contribute financially this time around, fear not. First, I’d like to invite everyone to share your JURIST experiences by sending an email to testimonials@jurist.org. Tell us what you get from reading JURIST, what makes JURIST unique, and why you think we should keep doing what we do. Be sure to include your name and your location. If you’ve got no objections, we’ll share your thoughts with your fellow JURIST readers!

Second, to crib a famous catchphrase, we’ll be back. As we’re coming into our own as an independent non-profit, we will occasionally be asking for your support again. While we may not relish the idea of interrupting your access to news and commentary, we believe that reader support is our most important funding stream.

Third, we are happy to accept donations at any time, not just during fundraising drives. So, keep JURIST in mind if you win the lottery, sell your startup, or inherit a sizable fortune from a long-lost relative. We accept donations year round!

Once again, thank you for your show of support over the last month. While we ended up short of our goal for the drive, we appreciate our readers doing their part to keep JURIST chugging along.

And with that, I’m happy to say, we return you to your regularly-scheduled programming.
