Stewart agrees to three-week extension of home confinement

[JURIST] Martha Stewart [JURIST news archive] agreed on Wednesday to a three-week extension of her home confinement [JURIST report] as part of her sentence for lying about a stock sale [JURIST report]. Neither Stewart's lawyers or government officials gave a reason for the extension. The New York Post reported Sunday that she had been seen riding in an off-road vehicle on her estate and attending a yoga class, but a US probation officer declined to say if those were violations of her probation. AP has more.
