[JURIST] Israeli officials have told the US that Israel will reexamine the cases of Palestinians in East Jerusalem whose land was seized by Israel [JURIST report] due to the building of the security fence [official website]. The US had expressed concern over the seizure of the land by local officials, in part because of the current attempts by the Israeli government as a whole to bolster the legitimacy of the new Palestinian presidency.
