Baghdad market bombing - an errant Iraqi SAM missile?

[JURIST] US Central Command said Thursday that, as it was now sure US guided munitions released early Wednesday morning (ET) had hit their targets in Baghdad, the market bombing that killed at least 14 civilians could be the work of an errant, and perhaps old, Iraq surface-to-air missile. The CENTCOM spokesman reiterated that "we have no intention of harming civilians unnecessarily or destroying infrastructure and buildings that we don't intend to attack." More information on the CENTCOM statement is available from the State Department.
