Ohio death penalty ruling

[JURIST] The US Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Tuesday overturned an Ohio death penalty conviction on grounds that the trial judge's instruction to the jury leaving the impression that juror unanimity was required to mitigate the punishment from death to life imprisonment clearly violated the Eighth Amendment.
