JURIST Publishes Health Care Reform Update

Pittsburgh, PA - November 17, 2011 - JURIST.org has updated and enhanced its feature coverage of health care reform in the US. Coverage now includes reports on the US Supreme Court's recent grant of certiorari in three separate cases challenging the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and the passage in Ohio of a constitutional amendment prohibiting a health insurance coverage mandate. For full coverage, please visit http://jurist.org/feature/featured/health-care-reform/.

"The ongoing debate about health care reform, and much of the information available framing the debate, continues to be politically charged and oftentimes confusing," said Matthew Shames, JURIST's Executive Director. "JURIST's Health Care Reform Feature not only provides a comprehensive overview of the history of the PPACA, but also expert commentary on the legal issues involved and links to original source documents. Our coverage encourages people to move beyond the rhetoric and gain a better understanding of the core legal concepts at play in this debate. In this manner, the presentation of our Health Care Reform Feature continues to further our goal of documenting law to empower people."
