Benjamin G. Davis [University of Toledo College of Law]: "Thank you Coretta for all of your good works helping humanity progress in the United States and around the world. You were a person of action and gentleness. Martin and you did YOUR work – not his or hers. You have raised children that show us all what a special place your house has been. You remind us of what seems to have been another time, yet you remain timeless. The memory of you warms my heart and whispers to my soul. In a difficult world, your serenity and faith keep all of us grounded. When you look back, you could always say "I was there." for all of us. Thank you dear Coretta for your love for me and all humanity. May you rest in peace sweet lady."
