Nixon, Attorney General of Missouri, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, November 16, 2006 [ordering the US District Court to issue a modified injunction against Missouri's new 24-hour informed consent abortion law that did not cover a basic consent process already upheld by the US Supreme Court's 1992 ruling in Planned Parenthood v. Casey, and also ordering that the injunction against the law automatically expire 10 days after the Missouri Supreme Court issues a decision on its constitutionality]. WWI gas attack on Canadians led to first chemical weapons ban

On April 24, 1915, the German army used chlorine gas against Canadian troops at Ypres. Gas was later employed by British and French forces against the Germans.
