Race-based Seattle high school admissions ruling [9th Circuit]

Parents Involved in Community Schools v. Seattle School District, US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, October 20, 2005 [upholding the Seattle school district's use of race in its high school admissions policy]. Excerpt:

We also conclude that the District's Plan is narrowly tailored to meet the District's compelling interests.
